The Kristalbond Group of Companies (KBG) is involved in research and development, manufacturing and marketing of the product, KristalBond. KristalBond is a recently invented chemical compound that is manufactured through a patented process known as ‘transparent silicone film-forming composition’. This technology has its origin in Japan.

When applied, KristalBond forms a semi-permanent coating on the glass surface and possesses properties that differentiate it from normal coatings. Functionality is added to KristalBond to reduce harmful ultra-violet and infrared rays transmitting through the glass, thus enabling KristalBond to address issues such as energy savings and global warming.

The KristalBond Group owns the worldwide rights to conduct research and development, manufacture and market KristalBond. The Group believes that KristalBond has the potential to replace plastic film laminates with similar functionalities but with better durability and visibility. KristalBond may be applied to transportation vehicles, glass windows in buildings and computer peripherals such as display screens.
