The Green Tech Centre is a Low Energy Office (LEO) building

One of Malaysia’s leading green technology agency, the Green Tech Centre (GTC) is formerly known as the Malaysia Energy Centre (Pusat Tenaga Malaysia – PTM).  It was setup was to fulfill the need for a national energy research centre that  co-ordinate various activities, specifically energy planning and research, energy efficiency, and technological research, development and demonstration (R,D&D) undertaken in the energy sector due to the long lead time for energy projects to come on stream.

The showcase is located at their new office, built on a 5-acre site at Seksyen 9, Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor Darul Ehsan. It is among the first Malaysian Government administrative building designed based on the Low Energy Office (LEO) building concept.
